Sedicesimo Project

This Sedicesimo is a 16 page booklet explores the design and cultural significance of receipts collected from Italy and the U.S. The project features visual studies and minimal layouts that elevate these everyday objects. The booklet reflects on how something disposable can reveal systems of value, memory, and material culture.

The project is printed on Takeo paper with a stitching binding. The paper is from Paper&People and the booklet was printed at a store called The Print Store Centro Stampa Digitale. Working hands on with the print store and collaborating directly with the print team gave me valuable experience in understanding the printing process and how written work translates into a physical format.
